How to Roast Garlic
Roasted garlic can add delicious flavor to just about anything. Roasting the garlic really takes away all the spiciness and bitterness of garlic and leaves you with a super flavorful spreadable paste.

Ingredients

garlic

olive oil

teaspoon
salt

tablespoon
herbs de provence

sheet foil
Instructions
Heat your oven to 400 F.
Use a very sharp knife to cut the garlic clove in half horizontally, place it on a square of tin foil, then drizzle it all over with olive oil.
Sprinkle the salt and herbs, then wrap up tightly and bake for about 30 - 40 minutes, or until it is soft when squeezed.
Allow to cool for a few minutes, then squeeze out the cloves - they are ready for use in something delicious.
