Upgrade your potatoes for your next dinner with this easy Hasselback potatoes recipe that are crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and stylish enough to impress your guests.
Thoroughly wash the potatoes and place them on a cutting board.
Lay 2 wooden spoons or BBQ skewers on the board and place one potato in the middle of the wooden spoon or skewers.
Using a sharp knife, make several thin slices into the potato, cutting downwards until the knife touches the spoons. The knife shouldn't cut all the way through the potato.
Repeat this process with the remaining potatoes.
Cooking instructions
Preheat the oven to 410 degrees Fahrenheit (210 degrees Celsius) and grease a large baking sheet.
Place the cut potatoes onto the baking sheet and brush each potato generously with the melted butter, making sure the butter gets into the potato slices.
Sprinkle generously with the sea salt and cracked black pepper on top of them.
Bake the potatoes for about an hour, until the skin has golden brown crispy edges, and when stabbed with a fork, it is soft in the middle.
