How to make

Follow our easy step by step instructions

Make the meat mixture for the steak patties by combining ingredients in a large bowl.

1

Once the mixture is fully incorporated, form them into small 4 oval patties.

2

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a tablespoon of olive oil, then cook the seasoned beef patties for 5 minutes on either side until browned.

3

Transfer the cooked Salisbury steaks to a plate, leaving the juices in the skillet, and add the onions and mushrooms. Cook.

4

Turn the heat down to medium and melt the butter. Then add the flour and stir for 1 or 2 minutes before adding in the beef broth bit by bit. Continuously whisk the gravy to avoid lumps.

5

Pour the Worcestershire sauce and add the garlic cloves into the sauce. Continue to whisk to get a smooth consistency.

6

Add the cooked onions, mushrooms, and Salisbury steaks to the brown gravy.

7

Serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice.

Cooking Tips

If your gravy is too thick, you can easily make it thinner by adding more water or beef broth.

01

To avoid breaking, resist the urge to flip or move your Salisbury steaks while they're cooking, as they need to brown completely on either side.
