If you're a fan of garlic, then this roasted garlic recipe is definitely for you. Roasting garlic is a delicious and easy way to add a creamier garlic flavor to your food. And it's so simple to make! All you need is garlic, olive oil, and salt.
Cut ½ an inch off the top of the raw garlic bulb so that the tops of the individual cloves are exposed.
Cooking instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
Place a piece of aluminum foil on a clean work surface and place the garlic bulb on top facing upwards.
Drizzle the olive oil over the head and sprinkle salt on top. Cover the foil around the bulb and place it on a baking tray.
Bake for 40 minutes until the garlic cloves are lightly browned and soft.
Remove the roast garlic from the oven and allow it to cool for 10 minutes before squeezing the roasted garlic cloves from their outer layer.

No foil, no problemIf you don't have any aluminum foil, you can use parchment paper or wax paper and wrap them with twine. You can also use a muffin tin to hold the garlic bulb in and cover it with parchment paper.
