Recipe Notes
Cleaning the mushroomsFor the best-stuffed mushrooms, use a damp cloth or damp paper towel to clean them. If you wash mushrooms in water, they will soak up and become soggy.Save the chopped mushroom stemsDon't throw away the chopped mushroom stems. You can use them to make a delicious topping for your stuffed mushrooms or even a delicious Hungarian mushroom soup.Use a rack to bake the stuffed mushroomsIt’s important to use a rack so that they don’t sit directly on the bottom of the pan with their juices. Cooking them on a rack helps to give them a crispy exterior while keeping them moist in the middle with the stuffing mixture.
